But nothing happens without the backing of aviation history enthusiasts and others from around the world – those wishing to help fill in the gaps of our knowledge of the many accomplishments and sacrifices of our forebears.

BECOME A SPONSOR
Apart from direct donations or the purchase of merchandise, IHAS solicits "Patrons" – individuals and corporations wishing to take on a larger role.
The mission promises to generate considerable public attention as well as a documentary on the history of the flight and the efforts to locate the remains of the aircraft and its heroic crew. Larger donations will qualify individuals and/or corporations for Patron Status.
As such, depending on the level of contribution, they will receive various forms of recognition. This could include participation on the search operation, media exposure in press releases, logo placement on the web site, being a spokesperson in the documentation and any videos, or other means of recognition that may be mutually agreed upon.
